Though Chiang Mai's population is constantly increasing, Chiang Mai retains its green area and peaceful atmosphere. Bo Sang is famous for hand-made paper umbrellas. Apart from touring around the inner city, you can also take an elephant trek in the lush jungle to meet hill tribes or bamboo-raft on the river. In the evening, the nightlife scene is concentrated on Loi Kroh Road and Moon Muang Road.
